"How come theres no new photos of Hillary on your blog?"

We caught Hill poo-ing one fine day =p

first tooth!

Hill's first tooth is starting to erupt from the gum. I can feel a sharp white part of the tooth when i touch her gum.

A couple of weeks ago, I was telling the husband that I can foresee two of her teeth coming out soon but he didn't believe me!

maaaaaa?

Hill uttered some words like mama in the morning!
Weeeeeeeeet~

More first time food...

24 Oct 2008 Friday, I read from WBF that babies after the age of 8months can start to eat yoghurt, thus I went to the supermart to buy some. Tried to give Hill a treat but she did not like it. Ended up I have to "finish" them off! Must be too sourish for her liking but nontheless, I will try again some other day.

27 Oct 2008 Monday, I decided to cook porridge for Hill. I used a small piece of chicken thigh and her rice to cook porridge. The porridge took a long time to cook before it turned "go-gey", say about 5hours? Sadly, she didnt appreciate it at all! Anyway we had a good time laughing at her funny expressions while feeding her la!

28 Oct 2008 Tuesday, we fed Hill with mango and as usual, she gave us that wannapukeoutexpression but she took it really well after that. Guess she must have love it as much as me! Haaaaaaaaa!

Hill's first word...

was baba or maybe papa. It all started yesterday morning when Hill started to mumbled babababa and papapapa. The husband did not seem amazed by her mumbles at all, guess he is waiting for DADDY instead of babababa! =P

8month old

Baby Hill turns 8month old today and still bo-geh! We started her on solids from month 6 and formula milk from month 7. No porridge for her yet as I am a lazy mommy. I prefer cereal with puree as I thought cereal will be more nutritious! She has 2 serves of cereal each day and I already got trouble trying to rotate her food. Anyway, I bought some sweet peas for her but yet to let her try.

The list of food that she tried so far:

- avocado
- sweet potato
- pumpkin
- butternut squash
- carrot
- potato
- broccoli
- cauliflower
- banana
- apple
- pear
- papaya
- watermelon

She is still a vegetarian up till now! Guess we will introduce meat to her quite soon.

Naughty Hillary!

Hillary got so naughty just now! I burst into laughter instead of being angry with her. This was what happened earlier...

I put Hill to bed at 11am and about 1145am I heard some interruption from baby monitor speaker. I thought it was some interference with our wireless network at home thus continue to surf net. At 12noon, my tummy was hungry, decided to heat up my lunch when I heard Hill's noise.

Without hesitating, I walked to our room, opened the door and saw her playing with my pillow. The bed was in a mess, the baby monitor was switched off by Hill, her pillow at another corner of the bed and the cloth which I used to put on top of her top was messy at another corner!!! Look what a mess she has done!!

Its so dangerous to leave her in the room now because she dont scream for me when shes awake from her nap anymore!
